Influenza Vaccine Target Groups Added
Posted 09:28 PM, December 15, 2004, by pfordThe County of Santa Clara has authorized Stanford Medical Group to add the following groups to the previous high risk categories of persons able to receive the influenza vaccine during 2004-5:
- Adults aged 50 or older
- Household contacts and caregivers of persons at high-risk for influenza complications
- All emergency services personnel and healthcare workers.
Please contact your physician at SMG to schedule your influenza vaccine if you meet the above recommendations or have any questions regarding the 2004-5 influenza vaccine.
