Stanford Medical Group (SMG) is an adult primary care clinic
offering medical services to patients within the Stanford Community.
In addition, the group is committed to providing care to those in our
surrounding community with a focus on patients receiving specialty care
at Stanford University Medical Center. Physicians are trained in General
Internal Medicine and maintain academic appointments at Stanford University
School of Medicine.
In collaboration with the Institute for HealthCare Improvement (http://www.ihi.org), SMG continually studies and advances the provision of medical care and participates in the educational development of our physicians in training at Stanford University School of Medicine.
The Resident Clinic at SMG is staffed by physicians training in Internal Medicine at Stanford Hospital School of Medicine under direct supervision of the SMG faculty.
